Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of visitors from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. It was a four percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States were in Israel during August 2022.
Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. "It is thrilling to witness a second rise in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching the record-breaking numbers of the year 2019," he stated. "The United States has been the most important source of tourism for Israel inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, we had record figures of the number of tourists entering Israel every month.
Canada is set to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.
