Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry From the United States

NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before.

Before the COVID-19 outbreak, we were celebrating record-breaking monthly numbers of tourists entering the country. We are thrilled to see this shift and anticipate an upward trend that will continue for months and even years.

Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August saw 6,600.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May this year The country has seen more than 600,400 US travelers.
